Unveiling of new public artwork, with devised performance by K2 and Kube, the Hythe youth groups with Artist Less Bicknall and Tressel Theatre Company. Drumming by the Sea cadets.
HOW TO GET THERE
St Leonard's Church and Dolphin House are near the bottom of Hythe Hill. They can be reached on foot or on the No 4 or 74 Bus from the town centre, or on our free courtesy classic bus (see below for details)
The Community Centre is in Maudlyn Rd, at the bottom of Hythe Hill.
King Edward Quay is on the River Colne, near the new Colne Causeway Bridge. It can be reached directly by the No 61 bus from the town or from Wivenhoe, or by the free courtesy bus. On foot or by car: from Colchester turn right off Hythe Hill into Maudlyn Rd, turn right into Hythe Quay and go as far as the bridge junction. Continue along Haven Road. Pedestrians turn left down Distillery Lane, cars can continue down Haven Road and turn left at Coldock, parking along the quayside. (limited parking)
Free Classic Bus from Town Hall every hour on the quarter-past, starting at 10.15 and return at quarter-to each hour. Last bus back 3.45
