RUBENSTEIN TRUNK

Colchester's Global heritage, part of "Gift" presents a free concert by " Rubenstein Trunk", a trio of local people who have temporarily split up to explore the wilder reaches of the University system but who have agreed to reform to bring a "Short concert of world music with home made instruments" to the Colchester public.

rubenstein Trunk

The home made instruments are violins, cellos dulcimers, plus other things to blow, suck and scrape made from plywood and packing cases. Surprisingly tuneful and melodic, their repertoire ranges from wild Gypsy music to new takes on old classics.
